Third Baptist Church is a community of Christian believers,
committed to worshiping God, proclaiming the Good News,
making disciples, and ministering to people.
We are a family of believers who have received the God-given grace of
forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Our doors and heart are open to all
desiring a personal relationship with Jesus. We strive to do this
without prejudice, without judgment, without condemnation,
knowing that we too are sinners.
We reach out to others through our ministries of feeding the hungry,
clothing the needy, giving comfort during the storms of worldly life,
learning the Bible in our studies and leading others to Christ
by our testimony and example.
Our worship style is traditional, infused with congregational hymn
singing and choir anthems. The Pastor's message from scripture is
given so that we understand how it was relevant not only to the time
it was written, but how it applies to us today.
We affirm that all men and all women are called to be children of God
through the grace of Jesus Christ and to be ministers of the Gospel.
