Game Room & Gym
- Perfect for small gatherings, classes, leadership meetings, book studies, showers, and intimate receptions.
- Seats approximately 25–35 comfortably, depending on room setup.

- Guest WiFi is available for event use.
- Gym is packaged with Game Room rental.

Fireside Room
- A warm, flexible space that works beautifully for large group gatherings and special events.
- Ideal for receptions, graduation celebrations, family reunions, birthday parties, meetings, bridal or baby showers, and other occasions that call for a welcoming and comfortable setting.
- Seats comfortably 100 guests with round tables, allowing for conversation and connection while still providing plenty of room to move about.
- Its layout is adaptable for both formal and casual events, whether you are planning a seated meal, a presentation, or a relaxed gathering.
- Access to the church kitchen is available upon request and must be arranged in advance.
- Equipped with audiovisual capabilities, including a TV screen with AirPlay, HDMI, and VGA connections, making it easy to share slideshows, videos, or presentations.
- Guest WiFi is available for event use.

Sanctuary (Non-Wedding Use)
- A spacious, light-filled setting designed to host large gatherings with dignity and ease.
- Ideal for conferences, lectures, community forums, concerts, film screenings, panel discussions, memorial services, and large organizational meetings.
- Traditional sanctuary layout with fixed seating, offering excellent sightlines and natural acoustics for speakers, musicians, and presenters.
- Elevated platform area suitable for keynote speakers, panels, choirs, small ensembles, or moderated conversations.
- Large projection screen and audiovisual capabilities available for presentations, films, and multimedia events, must be arranged in advance.
- Professional sound system with microphones available upon prior arrangement.
- Lobby and atrium spaces may be available for guest check-in, welcome tables, or light receptions, subject to scheduling.
- Rental blocks and technical needs must be arranged in advance to ensure proper staffing and preparation.

How do I request use of a room or space at Third Baptist Church?
To request space:
- Complete and submit the Facility Use Request Form.
- A church representative will contact you to review availability and details.
- A Rental Pricing Agreement will be emailed to you.
- Submit your refundable deposit by check to reserve the space.
- Pay remaining rental fees at least one week prior to your event.
Please note: Completing the request form does not secure your reservation. Your event is confirmed only after the Rental Pricing Agreement is completed and the deposit is received.
Who can rent space at the church?
We welcome requests from:
- Active Members of Third Baptist Church
- Community groups
- Non-members
- Outside organizations
All requests are reviewed based on availability, staffing capacity, and the nature of the event. The church reserves the right to determine appropriate use of its facilities.
What spaces are available to rent?
Commonly requested spaces include:
- Game Room/Gym
- Fireside Room
- Sanctuary (Non-Wedding Use)
Other spaces may be available and can be discussed during the request process.
How much does it cost to rent a space?
Rental fees depend on:
- Whether the requester is an Active Member or outside group
- The size of the event
- The length of time requested
- The space being used

Individual Events (1–50 people, 4 hours)

Additional fees apply for events with more than 50 people.
Active Members may request use without a rental fee but are still responsible for the deposit and cleaning fee.
Final pricing is provided in a Rental Pricing Agreement.
What is the refundable deposit for?
The refundable deposit ensures that:
- The space is left clean and orderly
- Furniture and equipment are returned to their original locations
- All items brought in are removed
- Doors are locked and lights turned off
- The event ends at the approved time
If policies are not followed, or if damage or excessive cleanup occurs, part or all of the deposit may be forfeited.
What happens if my event runs past the scheduled time?
Events must conclude and the facility must be vacated by the approved end time listed in your Rental Pricing Agreement. Remaining beyond that time may result in forfeiture of your refundable deposit.
Are fees ever reduced or waived?
In limited circumstances, the church may approve reduced or waived fees for events that align closely with our mission and ministry. This is evaluated case-by-case and is not guaranteed.
Do outside organizations need insurance?
Yes. Groups using the facility on a recurring basis must:
Provide proof of liability insurance with at least $1,000,000 per occurrence
Name Third Baptist Church as an additional insured
All recurring groups must also sign a Facility Use Liability Waiver.
Can we serve food at our event?
Yes, with the following guidelines:
- Groups must provide their own cups, plates, napkins, and utensils.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in the Gym or the Sanctuary, except for water.
- All areas used for food service must be left clean.
Can we move tables, chairs, or equipment?
Furniture and equipment may not be moved without prior approval.
No furniture or equipment may be brought into the Gym without approval.
Church equipment may not be removed from the premises.
Any damaged or malfunctioning equipment must be reported promptly.
Can we use the church’s sound system or technology?
Use of audio-visual or sound equipment must be approved in advance and listed on your request form.
The Sanctuary sound system and sound board may only be operated by trained and approved personnel.
Technical support fees, if required, will be included in your Rental Pricing Agreement.
Unauthorized use of technology equipment is not permitted.
How does building access work?
A temporary door code will be provided to the designated event contact.
The code is valid only for the approved date and time.
The event contact is responsible for admitting participants.
Church staff are not available to unlock doors remotely.
Exterior doors must remain closed and locked unless prior approval is given and actively monitored.
Can my reservation be changed or canceled by the church?
Yes. The church reserves the right to:
- Prioritize ministry needs
- Ask outside events to reschedule due to urgent pastoral needs
- Deny, modify, or revoke approval if policies are not followed or if the event is misrepresented
Is there parking available?
Yes, we have ample parking available for guests. Please let us know if you have any special parking needs.What happens if we do not follow the guidelines?
Failure to follow facility policies may result in:
- Forfeiture of the refundable deposit
- Additional charges for damage or cleanup
- Denial of future facility use
